We know that there are many single, young married and empty nest adults who haven’t been served by many churches where the focus in on families. Serving adults in every stage of life is an important part of Good Shepherd’s ministry.

We also have many ways adults can serve the church.

Sunday School

Pastor Smith leads an adult discussion at 9:15am on Sunday during the school year. Topics range from bible studies to conversation about our Lutheran liturgy, but are always relevant and engaging. Sometimes someone brings bagels and fruit and we enjoy breakfast as we chat.

Bible Study

Periodically Pastor Smith leads bible study series on weeknights or weekdays, typically on Wednesday. These series depend primarily on interest and the time of year. If you have something you’d like to cover in bible study, let Pastor Smith know.

Adult Choir

Good Shepherd’s adult choir meets after church each Sunday and worships with a choir anthem just about every Sunday. Even if you’ve never sung with a group before, the adult choir is a place where you can learn to sing in a group. We all get along and sometimes do more laughing at rehearsal than singing.
